10 Best Pools in Tulum, Mexico

Pools in Tulum

Not a beach person? Prefer to avoid sand and rather lay by a pool at a beach club in Tulum? If you are looking to spend your days at the best pools this side of the Riviera, this post is for you.

Radhoo Pool in Tulum

While Radhoo hotel is located in the Hotel Zone, it is not on the beach. However, their guests do have access to the beach across the street. The pool makes up for the fact that the property is not beachfront. It’s beautiful, huge, and a very tranquil place. I recently spent the day working remotely from Radhoo’s pool - WiFi was great, we took so many photos around the property, and we ended the day just hanging in the pool until our hands turned to prunes.

Hotel Panamera Tulum.

Panamera is a boutique beach club Tulum and never gets crazy busy like some of the other hotels. The pool is beautiful - from its checkered floors to striped bed cushions.

Amansala

Amansala is one of the best beach clubs Tulum Mexico has to offer. The pool is situated next to the restaurant and overlooks the sea. It’s a great spot to hang, work remotely, or pop in for a Mayan massage or yoga class.

Habitas Tulum, Mexico.

Habitas’ pool is very tiny, and usually reserved for hotel guests only, but I’ve never stayed there yet spent many days at their pool. It’s a a tiny platform with palm trees and a handful of daybeds and poufs. Their food is also delicious.

Hotel Bardo Tulum.

If you find yourself in town, definitely check out Hotel Bardo. A lot of my friends like to work remotely from here.

Casa Malca

This is on the list more as a “must-see.” Casa Malca is rumored to be the pablo escobar pool. in Tulum There is a secret pool between the hotel and the beach – it’s underground and not one to go to for catching sun, but definitely something to check out.

Tulum Hotel Pool

Here are a few additional pools that are also worth checking out:

  • Nômade. Only available to hotel guests, but you may be able to go for a dip if you are hanging at their beach.

  • Layla. This newer boutique hotel has a rooftop pool. You will question if you are in Tulum or Morocco.

  • Be Tulum. Be is a great place to spend a day at the beach, but if you are looking for a pool, they have many. One even has glass siding that is worth checking out if you are looking for cool Instagram pics.

  • Papaya Playa Project. If you are looking to stay at PPP, some villas have their pools.

Also, cenotes are technically freshwater pools! If you want to spend a day out of the Hotel Zone or town, bring a towel and hang at a cenote for the day.
